A place where mornings begin with coffee on the terrace, afternoons drift between the pool and the beach, and evenings are measured by golden light sunsets, salt air and long conversations beneath the stars.

Bahari House was born from a belief that the most memorable journeys are the ones that make you feel completely at home.

Every room tells part of a story. Over many years of travelling through Africa, Indonesia, Sri Lanka, Morocco, Europe and beyond, I found myself collecting more than souvenirs. Handwoven baskets. Antique wooden carvings. Ceramics shaped by local artisans. Linen softened by the sun. Objects with history, craftsmanship and soul.

Each piece has travelled home with me. Together they have become Bahari House. A globally collected home that feels layered rather than decorated. Eclectic yet calm. Refined without ever feeling formal.

Nothing has been chosen simply because it was beautiful. Everything has been chosen because it makes a space feel warm, lived in and deeply connected to the places that inspired it.

Above all, Bahari House is designed to make you exhale. To read with the doors open. To wander barefoot from bedroom to pool. To cook slowly with friends. To spend less time looking at your phone and more time watching the changing light move across the mountains and sea.

Whether you stay for a weekend or a month, my hope is always the same. That somewhere between the sea breeze, the interiors, the quiet corners and the rhythm of Camps Bay, Bahari House begins to feel less like a holiday home and more like somewhere you truly belong.
